About our Program
Sebastian (Seba), for which our preschool is named, was diagnosed with Lowe Syndrome not long after he was born to a friend of ours. This is a very rare genetic abnormality that affects primarily boys and can cause significant medical problems. Sadly he passed away at 15 months old due to complications. Sebastian and his mother has set our family on a path toward empathy and compassion. We hope to raise awareness for children with medical needs and wish to provide extra support for families going through difficulties.
Please consider making a donation to the Lowe Syndrome Association to make a difference in a family's life.
Sebastian was a sparrow. This organization helps families with high medical bills and needs to be supported by a local school or business. Schools will put on fundraisers to support their sparrow student and their families to obtain medical gear, pay hospital bills and afford basic care that they otherwise would not be able to afford.
Please consider a donation to a local Sparrow Club organization.
Our Philosophy
Child Centered Learning
Our Philosophy:
At Little Seba's Preschool, we embrace the dynamic nature of education, recognizing that each child is unique and learns in their own distinct manner. Through our play-based, child-led approach, we highlight and nurture these individual learning moments, guiding each student to explore and develop their personal interests.
Our preschool is distinguished by its home-based educational style, where children engage in household activities that foster self-care, environmental stewardship, and empathy for others. Our commitment to progressive education is reflected in our dedication to celebrating diversity—not only by acknowledging our shared experiences but also by honoring our differences.
We provide numerous opportunities throughout the day for children to acquire new skills and practice emotional regulation. We encourage them to look beyond their own perspectives and to approach their peers with compassion and kindness, fostering an inclusive and supportive community.
Nurturing Environment
Creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment is absolutely essential for the overall well-being and healthy development of young children. This supportive atmosphere fosters their emotional growth and enhances their social skills, allowing them to thrive in various aspects of their early lives.

Family Involvement
Family engagement is a cornerstone of any successful home-based program, as it fosters a strong supportive network for children. We recognize parents and caregivers as vital partners in their child's educational journey, and we understand the importance of collaboration. To enhance this relationship, we invite all family members to participate in various outings and weekend activities from time to time, creating opportunities to connect and really build a sense of community. Sharing these experiences together allows families to bond with one another while strengthening the foundation of trust and cooperation essential for their children's growth.
Inclusivity and kindness
Little Seba’s Preschool is open to any and all forms of family and community. We believe the world is full of beautiful and amazing people and wish to foster inclusivity in our students. This teaches them to respect our differences and to practice sharing and empathy.
We do not discriminate against race, age, sexual orientation, political views, etc. As long as you can remain kind, you are welcome in our home.
Our Family handbook states our anti-discrimination policy and our zero tolerance policy for anyone who does not abide by basic anti-discrimination or saftey standards.
If you have questions about our policies or curriculum, please do not hesitate to ask!
